Runners are invited to come see the beautiful capitol city of Louisiana and participate in the inaugral marathon to be held in Baton Rouge. The event is taking place on January 15th of 2012. Planning will have taken over a year, ensuring a great event for all.
Everyone is invited to the event; in addition to the marathon, there will be a half marathon, a relay race, a 5k run and a kids’ run.
The goal of the event is to get people to enjoy the exercise, as well as promoting good health. Some sponsors have already signed up and more are invited.
