The Dbacks lost the first 2 games to the SD Padres thus losing the 3 game series. Trevor Bauer looked good in the first inning striking out the first 3 batters he faced. Bauer then went on and gave up 8 runs and the Dbacks lost the game 9-2. The series finale is tonight on Military Appreciation night and Independence day. The Dodger come in chase field Thursday for a 4 game series. Heading into tonight’s action the Diamondbacks are in 3rd place in the NL west 5.5 games out of first.
