The Phoenix Mercury will face the LA Sparks in the first round of the playoffs after finishing the season 29-5. No other team in the history of the WNBA has won that many games in a regular season.
The playoffs open Friday night, August 22nd, at US Airways Arena. Th Mercury have clinched home court advantage throughout the playoffs.
